The Spacetones Mixtape Release Party

When The Spacetones decided to release their latest mixtape, ‘Welcome to The planet of Drugs and (e)Money’ they decided to actually have it printed on a cassette tape. I worked with Tyler Gross on this project. Together we created creatures that loosely represent the four members of the group. The illustrations of creatures were meant to be something that was found in a field guide of long lost traveler to the Planet of Drugs and (e)Money. These images were used on the packaging for the tapes, on posters and as live visuals projected onto the stage at the release party. We also created several custom tapes that are all unique by painting on each one, we sold out of these.

Cattywompus ‘Sprout’ Release Microsite

I created this Microsite for Cattywompus’ soon to be released “Sprout EP.” Unfortunately, the band had broken up before the site was going to launch. Cattywompus was a jamtronica band that went from downtempo electronic grooves to funk to dubstep.

Zound

Zound was an idea for a weekly Podcast that the tracks would be curated by the subscribers and the dj or guest dj. The dj would create a mix or mashup of those tracks available at the end of each week for the subscribers to download, share and stream.

Think EcoLogic Poster

This was a poster that I created for submission to the Annual Skopje International Poster Competition. The theme was “Think EcoLogic.” My poster is illustrating that everything is connected in a very intricate and complex way that we may never understand, therefore we should treat our environment with respect. I chose to go this route because I did not want to use the typical scare tactics that are often associated with environmental awareness posters, instead to try and show how complex and connected our world really is through creative imagery.

Tarang Promotional Materials

The promotional materials included 11″x17″ Posters, 3′x5′ Banners, 2′x4′ Banners and tickets. The Tarang festival celebrates Indian culture on the campus of Missouri State University which has a diverse foreign exchange program.

Experience with creating information graphics, web design and creative promotional pieces. Always experimenting and exploring new ways to compose designs with fresh ideas. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Design: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
Pre-press: CTP Technology, stripping film for plates, creating signatures. Operation of small format, large format, and 4-color offset presses.
The entire screen printing process.
Binding Operation: folding machines, saddle stitcher, cutting machines.
Music: have been playing cello and bass for 15 years. Strong compositional skills, fluent with Ableton Live and integrating midi interfaces into the studio and incorporating them into a live performance.
Web: Experience with designing web interfaces and mobile sites. Fluent in HTML and CSS, also have experience with building WordPress sites.
