SKILLS
Experience with creating information graphics, web design and creative promotional pieces. Always experimenting and exploring new ways to compose designs with fresh ideas. Resourceful with available materials and willing to change and adapt, taking criticism well. Active in nurturing interpersonal creativity with other local designers, artists and musicians.

 

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Design: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.
Pre-press: CTP Technology, stripping film for plates, creating signatures. Operation of small format, large format, and 4-color offset presses.
The entire screen printing process.
Binding Operation: folding machines, saddle stitcher, cutting machines.
Music: have been playing cello and bass for 15 years. Strong compositional skills, fluent with Ableton Live and integrating midi interfaces into the studio and incorporating them into a live performance.
Web: Experience with designing web interfaces and mobile sites. Fluent in HTML and CSS, also have experience with building WordPress sites.

Graphic Designer: working as a digital and web designer, juggling multiple projects, tight deadlines, helping brands look good on the web, on a phone, in a Facebook tab, on twitter, wherever.

Graphic Design Intern: handling multiple jobs and tight deadlines, working with web media such as complex websites to simple e-blasts, learning how to design for web standards, working with a team of developers, designers and copywriters.

Press Operator: operating a Solna 225 and 425, trimming paper, repair and maintenance of presses. In preparation for the installation of the school’s new 4-color press, developed the new floor plan to maximize work flow and safety. Pre-Press Assistant: stripping film, using CTP technology for multiple presses. Associate Designer: proficient use of the Adobe Creative Suite in designing jobs for copy, screen printing and 1 to 4-color presses.
